The Kickathon is a Whitsunday Sea Eagles Club based event where funds will be donated directly from the Club to Cody’s family.
This news has hit many of our club members pretty hard, particularly in Cody’s U14s team, so the kickathon is also about supporting the mental health of our club members by giving them an outlet for their desire to help Cody in a time of feeling fairly helpless.
The Club has already donated over $1000 directly to the family from both the Club and its member’s donations with much more to come.
We are also contributing a whole lot of footy memorabilia we have chased AFL clubs for donations to form part of the online auction as “Footy for Footy” so our volunteers have been working hard collecting auction items.
